Personality

With a silver tongue, great memory and brave attitude, many cats wonder why he wasn't chosen as leader of RoseClan. He claims he recommended her because he's not as good at understanding other cats or building relationships, and that is true, but really Riftnoise likes to keep to himself. He enjoys clan life, and is willing to step up to the bat when needed, but overall prefers to let others take charge.

He is daring, an eloquent speaker and a learner of lore.

Relationships

Shiverstar is his best friend and closest confidant. Unfortunately, he's never liked her other friend, Mossy. Whether it's jealousy over her close relationship with Shiver, or them just having incompatible personalities, he'll never say. He also isn't fond of Driftpelt, feeling bad for his treatment of Mistlekit.

Riftnoise has no current or past health issues.

History

Rift was always a bit of a loner among the alley cats, but that's not to say he wasn't popular. His ability to remember small details about others never failed to impress, and he was good at convincing others to follow his lead. This was rather unfortunate for him, as he preferred to keep to himself. His skills came in handy, however, as when their home was being destroyed, he remembered stories of wild cats told by an old rogue he once met. This gave the alley cats a glimmer of hope that they would be able to find a new place to live.
After they arrived at the clans and were rejected, the group was visited by a spirit cat named Cloverback. He told the cats that they would be able to live there as RoseClan if they were willing to fight to survive, and that they must pick a leader. Rift was quick to suggest Shiver, knowing that she would make for a great leader but also knowing that she would try to suggest him if he didn't speak fast enough. He has since settled into his role as a warrior and rather enjoys clan life, as long as he gets time alone every now and then.
